Council offers vaccinations to flood victims and volunteers
Brisbane City Council is offering flood victims and volunteers free vaccinations for tetanus at its recovery centres and infant clinics across Brisbane.
The vaccinations will be available free of charge to the following groups:
● Residents affected by the floods
● Registered volunteers
● Informal or unregistered volunteers helping out in their local neighbourhood or family or friends
● People who missed the opportunity at the volunteer assembly centres
Vaccinations will be available on the following dates at Council’s flood recovery centres:
Tuesday 18 January
RNA Showgrounds, 8.30 to 10am
Yeronga Primary School, Park Road, Yeronga, 11.30am to 1pm
St Mary’s Anglican Church, 455 Main Street, Kangaroo Point, 2.30 to 4pm
Wednesday 19 January
Indooroopilly Catholic Church, Ward Street, Indooroopilly, 8.30 to 10am
Jamboree Heights State School, Beanland Street, Jamboree Heights, 11.30am to 1pm
St Aidan’s Anglican Girls School, 11 Ruthven Street, Corinda, 2.30 to 4pm
Thursday 20 January
Yeronga Primary School, Park Road, Yeronga, 8.30 to 10am
