Operation: Cleaning Up the Southside - Kevin Rudd

Primary tabs

by Kevin Rudd and Labor on Friday, January 14, 2011 at 11:10am Brisbane’s Southside community is pulling together and starting a massive clean up task. If you can offer your time and support to help clean up the Southside please contact my electorate office on cleaningupthesouthside@gmail.com and we will let you know where you can help out with the clean up efforts. In your email let us know: - When you can help - Your contact number - What you are happy to do (e.g. cleaning, doorknocking, rubbish removal, supplies distribution, any other special assistance) If you run a local business and can donate supplies to help with the clean up let us know and we can get them to people in need - cleaningupthesouthside@gmail.com Unable to help in person? Donations to the Premier’s Flood Relief Appeal are still needed: http://www.qld.gov.au/floods/donate.html The community effort I have seen in the Griffith electorate is truly amazing. I know that right across Queensland people are giving their all to helping out fellow Queenslanders. Kevin (If your matter is a life-threatening emergency contact 000. If your dwelling has become unsafe please contact the SES on 13 25 00) http://www.facebook.com/home.php#!/note.php?note_id=10150166430368572&id=71784212268
