Flooding on Pine rivers bridge
I drove over the bridge at around 7pm. All traffic getting through then. I wouldn't be surprised if it's completely underwater by morning.

Confirmation
Hi,
We have called police and SES and have not had confirmation that the highway has been closed here. How did you find out?

Pine Rivers Bridge
I can confirm we have just crossed the Pine Rivers Bridge on the Bruce Hwy where the gateway merges in and it is not closed and there is no flooding across the road at all.
I believe when people talk of the pine rivers bridge being flooded they are talking about the bridge located in the low lying area at Petrie / Lawnton.
Hope this helps anyone looking for information as I have found the MBRC to be very vague with information unlike BCC which has been fantastic.

Since this bridge is located in the moreton bay regional council area don't expect any information to be made available, the council is oblivious to the needs of the people living in its region.

Tried to drive north across bridge this morning and it was closed. The police turned us around. Not sure why, it was underwater yesterday, but waters have gone down since then.

I've heard that the Pine Rivers Bridge is closed because a large container crashed into the bridge (upper and lower levels) during the peak flood yesterday. It will be closed both ways unil repaired.

Great info from everyone. I left work at 2:20pm today just in case. Water level was fine and both north and south bound were open. Will travel on M1 southbound tomorrow morning at 6am. Hopefully bridge is open or will need to take a long alternative route through Redcliffe to go back onto the M1 (via Deception bay Road to kipparing and then on Deagon Deviation).

Clarification: the Pine Rivers Bridge I previously referred to is the one at Lawnton on Gympie Rd, not the bridge on the Bruce Highway.

I visited this bridge (Petrie strathpine bridge) and it is heavily damaged. Tonnes of debris over the bridge and needs substantional repairs. Give it a week at least.
